Urges Expansion of Unemployment to Jumpstart Economy
Boston, MA – U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy issued a press release today suggesting that expanding unemplyment benefits is the best way to stimulate the economy.
Ted Kennedy said, “…we need immediate action to jumpstart our economy, and extending unemployment benefits is an indispensable part of that effort,”
"Senators Kennedy and Obama believe big government is the answer and that government programs will revitalize the economy. Big government will suck the life out of the economy. We need to cut taxes so businesses can create jobs and people can pay the mortgage," said Robert Willington, executive director of the MassGOP.
